SnakePit: 1993 Cobra R

The first year for the SVT Mustang Cobra R debuted with limited production, only 107 vehicles were made. A modern display of Ford's commitment to racing, the Cobra R was built with a form follows function mentality. Anything that contributed excess weight was eliminated - including the backseat, radio, air-conditioning and sound dampening material. Heavy-duty MacPherson struts, a front-strut tower brace and Koni� shocks boosted this car ahead of its little brother, the SVT Mustang Cobra.
This vehicle was by far the most nimble Fox-body Mustang in production.

The 93 Cobra R is considered to be the must collectable R since only 107 were made. Its also the hardest to find R in the US. The 93 R could go 0-60 in 5.7 seconds and had a top speed of 140 mph. Not bad for only having a 5-speed.
